Sky School was an amazing experience. We went to the Jamieson Telescope. M’s favorite thing was looking at all the galaxies, such as the whirlpool galaxy, Sombrero galaxy, and a face-on-spiral galaxy. S1’s favorite thing was the opportunity to come here and see all the amazing things here. S2’s favorite part was when we went hiking to look at trees later on in the week. P’s favorite thing was seeing the elliptical galaxy being devoured by a spiral galaxy. J’s favorite thing was looking at the Orion Nebula and a galaxy far, far away a long time ago. L’s favorite thing was the hike, much like S2’s favorite thing. T’s favorite thing was the entire thing. She liked the exercise, the stars, and everything else. It was a learning experience that is a once-in-a-lifetime thing not everyone gets to do.
