Rock/Mineral/Fossil samples:

• Pumice, very likely a volcanic bomb due to the oblong holes that could have been created upon ejection
• Conglomerate, layered with fossilized teeth of some type of swimming reptile; Cretaceous marine from Utah
• Copralite--fossilized poop, Jurrasic age, most likely some type of dinosaur

Fossils for giving away:

• Ammonites--extinct cephalopods (like squid), died at the end of the Cretaceous (Chixulub impact)
• Straight-shelled nautiloids--closely related to ammonites, living relative is the nautilus
• Brachiopods--Extremely common, but most died at the end of the Permian (before the rise of the dinosaurs), look similar to clams and were filter feeders like clams (clams existed at the time, but were rare and became more abundant after the extinction of the brachiopods)
• Gastrolites--stomach stones, probably from a stegasaurus or brachiosaurus (two dinosaurs found at this particular site in Northern Utah), late Jurrasic
• Triassic crayfish--freshwater, could have been from a seasonal lake or pond with a seasonal event that could have covered critters in a death assemblage
