Rebecca Bland

Graduate Instructor
PhD Student, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology

Rebecca is a PhD candidate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UA. She studies invasive plants and the bacteria and fungi in the soil that may (or may not!) be helpful to them. This is her 4th year with Sky School and she loves hiking the Meadow Loop. When Rebecca isn’t extracting DNA from soil, or growing invasive Yellow Starthistle in the UA greenhouses, she plays volleyball, soccer, and kickball, loves reading, and runs around with her very silly looking dog (who she would love to tell you about).
