Anik Das
Graduate Instructor
PhD Student in Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences
Anik Das is a PhD candidate in the group of Xiquan Dong and Baike Xi in the Department of Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Arizona. His research focuses on boundary layer cloud microphysics, using measurements from multi-platform atmospheric observational systems, including aircraft, ground-based, and spaceborne instruments. In parallel, he maintains an academic interest in the social sciences, particularly at the intersection of history, climate, policy, governance, and environmental systems. In his free time, he enjoys watching films, reading, and fiddling with the violin, which he promises he will master in the next decade.
